A walk down Cherry Tree Lane

One of my favourite fragrances by Lush is the 17 Cherry Tree Lane soap. It's a really feminine flowery scent with some citrus tones in it. Since I like both flowery and fruity, especially in perfumes and such, I really like the fact that Lush has made more products with this scent.

17 Cherry Tree Lane soap

What the Lush website says about it:
17 Cherry Tree Lane is our Retro floral soap and smells just like our popular Sakura Bath Ballistic. We've used lemon oil to tighten the skin, orange blossom absolute to lift the mood and jasmine for a sensual fragrance that lingers on the hands and body.

I really like this soap, it has that soft flowery scent, combined with the citrus scent (which you smell first), which makes its feminine but fresh aswell. In the shower the flowery scents is the one that really lingers the most. It's very soft on your body and doesn't dry out your skin. With a showerpuff it gives a lot of  foam and that way you can do even longer with a piece of it.
Unfortunately, this soap has been discontinued in the netherlands, I think the plain white soap didn't stand out enough in the crowd of other soaps. But it's available on the English site, as Retro product. Price: 3 pounds for 100 g.

Rub Rub Rub

What the Lush webiste says about it:
Sea salt shower scrub Rub Rub Rub is a bit of a variation on the normal shower gel. Sea salt is gently exfoliating, extra cleansing and mineral rich. After scrubbing, it dissolves in water, leaving your plughole free of blockages. This new blue scrub is startlingly refreshing, with a dash of lemon juice and the tropical scent of mimosa blossom. Smooth it all over your body; you can even use it as a shampoo.

This showergel is different from the others, because of the seasalt in it. With this showergel, you can scrub your body aswell and kill two birds with one stone. (hey, it's just an expression)
I do have to say, that some bottles have a little too much of the salt in it, which makes them a little bit hard to shake and get out of the bottle. I usually just unscrew the lid. I really like the salt, it gives a nice scrub, but not so hard it chafes the skin. The scent is lovely, but it has a bit more citrus to it, than the soap did. The flowery scent is not the most lingering scent in this one. Still, it is a really nice scent: If you need a gift for a woman, this is a pretty save product to buy.
Price: 5,25 euros 100g. - 9,90 euros for 250 g. - 16,50 euros for 500 g.

Sakura

What the Lush website says about it:
Like the blossom in a Tokyo park on a spring afternoon. The Sakura Ballistic is made in honour of cherry blossom time, perfumed with mimosa and jasmine to give you the joyful feeling of springtime, whenever you need it. When the blossom bursts forth in late spring, it's the tradition to take a picnic and a bottle of sake to the park and enjoy its beauty, while getting slowly sozzled. Or you could have a bath instead.

I have this ballistic in my stash, but I haven't used it in my tub yet. I keep sniffing it though, even at work, because I really love the scent. This one smells like Rub rub rub, or better said: the other way around, because Sakura was made before RRR was. I love the fresh citrussmell, that slowly gives way to the flowery scent underneath. In reviews I read that the scent really clings to the skin after a bath with this ballistic which is a big plus in my opinion. I'm not sure how it will effect my skin, but so far Lush bathproducts haven't dried out my skin yet, so I think this one will be just as great. The ballistic itself is a little piece of art. The colours are pretty feminine, but I can tell you that a lot of men like the flowery scents of Lush aswell.
Price: 4,95 euros a pice (200 g.)

Blossom

What the Lush website says about it:
Say it with flowers: mimosa, orange blossom and jasmine.
You can only buy the flower shaped 17 Cherry Tree Lane soap inside Lush gift boxes, so that's one good reason to add this to your list. Blossom celebrates our Japanese connections with a Sakura Bath Ballistic and a gorgeous little soap, wrapped up in a cherry blossom paper and tied with cherry coloured ribbon. It's a lovely way to say 'arigato gozai mas.' (Thank you very much.)

This is a lovely gift for a female, especially if you're not sure what scents they like. I haven't met a woman or girl (yet), who didn't like this scent.  The package is beautifull with cherry blossoms on the paper and a little bow wrapped around it. This is also a way to still buy the 17 Cherry Tree Lane soap in the netherlands, because it's still in this little gift! It comes in a beautifull round shape with a flower print on it. A real musthave in your Lushstash. So if you're not sure what to buy for your femake friend, try this one...or just buy it for yourself. You have to treat yourself to something nice once in a while, and the gift comes with a 10% discount coupon.
Price: 12,50 euros for one bath ballistic and 60 g. of soap
