Jolie Shirley

When we went shopping on saturday, we also went to this new chocolate/tea/pastry shop. One of my collegues had told me they sold chocolate suitable for diabetics, so we had to go :)

We bought the chocolate, which turned out to be bonbons, which isn't something Sidney normally eats. He just wants chocolate, and lots of it. But, this was suitable for diabetics and we had to try. They seem to have normal chocolate aswell, but those were sold out. Sid also choose the other 2 things, I'm not such a big chocolate fan, although I did pick up a 85% chocolatebar.(I forgot to photograph it) I'm more into dark chocolate and just a little piece at a time...or bonbons with crunchy bits.

We also bought tea, very nice and dark tea. I loooooove dark tea, especially with some lemon or jasmin in it.
I bought these cute glass jars at xenos for just a couple of euros. Perfect to store the teas. We also bought 2 tea-eggs. I haven't photographed those, because they are being used already. Mine is very stylish and is kind of like a long oval tube with little holes on the lower part. Sids is an oval egg which opens like scissors.

And for those of you who know New Kids (Turbo), you will probably laugh as hard as I did when I saw these:
I said 'omg i have to photograph these, because otherwise noone will believe me', which the seller thought was really funny, espcially when she heard I was from the south :)
(for you nonDutch readers, i can't really explain the phenomenon that is New Kids, sorry! Just think...Southpark humour and you might understand a bit)

Saturday Shopping Haul

We went shoppig last saturday, and we came home with nothing that was on our list, but we did get some really nice stuff unexpectingly.

From H&M:

I love tight skirts, and this black shiny one is definately different from the ones I already own.

Normally I tend to walk by this kind of colour in clothes, but it was only 7 euros, and I thought it was funny to try it on. But it actually looked pretty good on me and I think it will be very nice for summer, or works with a black vest in winter. Sometimes, I just want some colour in my wardrobe.

Every girl needs a LBD, -this- girl just needs a LOT of Little Black Dresses, hahaha. I like formfitting (bodycon?) dresses, and this one is once again, different from the ones I already own. The back is all lace. I was a bit in doubt about buying this one ( I thought it was a bit too dressy), even though it fits perfectly, but Sid loved it, so I bought it anyway.

Another LBD, this one has fake lather inserts, which I totally adore. I could already see myself in it with my kneehigh boots. I just have to take the waist in a bit, but thats peanuts. This one was only 15 euros! I really like the simplicity of it, and how it's still different because of the inserts. I just love leather :)

A dark(much darker then the pic) mossy green knitted vest. It had a 50% discount, and even though green is one of my favourite colours, I don't own much clothing in it.I have to have the right kind of green to go with my skintone, this one is :)

An Eau de Toilette I picked up at Ici Paris, with a discount. I'm not totally used to it yet, but for only 16,95, I thought it was nice :)  I normally have eau de perfumes, so this one is a bit diferent. We also picked up 2 scents for Sid :) And then we got an awefull big amount of samples from Clinique and lots of scents and a bodylotion for Sid. The sales womand who usually helps us is so friendly, so always remembers what we bought and she knows what we like and are interested in. This time she asked me what my Clinique creme was doing for my skin and how I liked my Chanel lipstick. She's awesome :)

Since I read a lot about the Catrice Baroque collection, I bought these:

I'm not sure if I'll use the highlighter, but it was the last one, I can always give it away if I don't. I realized the lightest lipstick is not really my thing , when I opened it, so that will go to a future giveaway. The darkest one is perfect for nude lips. Really happy with that one. The middle colour was sold out though.

And since it was second one half price, I took these with me aswell:

I picked this pink nailpolish with golden shine, because I thought it would look good with the nailart stickers that I got with my last haul.

So, that's my first haul for this year, did you get anything in the sale?

EOTD: Purples with Sugarpill

The idea for this EOTD came from BlogginBeauties. Lisanne used 2 purples by Sugarpill to create a look, and I really wanted to try it out myself.

I used Gosh eyeshadowbasestick, to help the loose powder stick to my eyes.
I used the Sugarpill loose powder Weekender on my whole eyelid. And into the outer V and above the crease I applied  the Sugarpill eyeshadow Poison Plum.

Because I thought Weekender had enough shimmer and glitter (sparkly!), I used a nude coloured highliter below my brows.
I applied some black gelliner, to make it a bit more darker towards to eye.

Below my eye I applied Gosh's Purple Stain with some Poison Plum applied on top of it.

I used some Gosh Natural Touch Foundation(more on that later)  and Gosh's Amethyst lipstick(which reflects really weird on the pics). Don't you just love my Nightmare before christmas robe? :))

We went shopping like this, I also wore a black short skirt, black leggings with grey knittedlegwarmers, and black hightopped sneakers.

And here's a random weird pic that I took after we went home and wanted to schnuggle up on the couch in my favourite vest:

Beautifull new Cameo

When I was just browsing through Marktplaats.nl, I saw this beautifull cameo with a cat, and I just had to have it. I love cameo's and I don't own one with a cat yet.
It's absolutely adorable, and has that bronze colour that gives it that vintage feel to it.

picture from the add.
I ordered it on friday and it was on my doormat the very next day! That's really fast!
When I looked at the package, I found out that the necklace came from a webshop called 'Sieradenkistje.nl'.
Check it out, there's a lot of cute stuff on there!

This came out of the little envelope:

It was wrapped in blubblewrap and then put into a pink little giftbag. This way, it all arrived in one piece :)

The cameo has a very long chain, which is perfect if you want to have it hanging somewhere below the breastarea. I tend to use a safetypin to make it shorter, so I can wear it in different lengths.

Look at the detail! It has little flowers and the little paws of the cat on it. Also the metal of the cameo is really pretty, and it has a bronze little metal ribbon added to it aswell.

I already love it so much! I love wearing cameo's and this one will definately be worn a lot!
